At A Stroke of Creativity, our motto is "It's your Party and you can CREATE as You want to!” Our job is to make your special event as enjoyable, relaxing and stress free as possible! Whether celebrating a birthday for a 5 year old or a 70 year old, Engagement, Bridal Shower, Bachelorette Party, Baby Shower, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Reunion, Mom's Night Out, Office Party... whatever your reason, we would love to be your party place!
Being parents of four children ourselves, we know how cost prohibitive a party can be. That is we can tailor a party to fit almost every budget. At A Stroke of Creativity YOU set the price of your party by choosing which pieces your guests will complete. Your final cost is the cost of the piece plus our studio fee, for each participant. That means we DONT set a minimum number of attendees. We don't limit your choices of creative projects and we don’t put you in the poor house! Our guest of honor gets their handprint on our wall of fame! We provide the invitations, thank you notes, & paper products. With your guests, we create a very special personalized gift for the guest of honor. Our wonderful staff is on hand to take care of your guests. We work with a restaurant that can provide you with pizza, wraps or other food, if you wish. All you would need to bring are beverages and cupcakes or a cake! We can even do parties on the go!

What is it?
Fused glass is a term used to describe glass that has been fired (heat-processed) in a kiln at a range of high temperatures from 1,099 F to 1,501 F. Fused glass techniques are generally used to create art glass, glass tiles, nightlights, sun-catchers and jewelry. There are 3 main distinctions for temperature application and the resulting effect on the glass. Firing in the lower ranges of these temperatures is called slumping. Firing in the middle ranges of these temperatures is considered "tack fusing". Firing the glass at the higher spectrum of the range is a "full fuse". All of these techniques can be applied to one glass work in separate firings to add depth, relief and shape. Slumping allows the creation of larger, functional pieces like dishes, bowls and plates. Producing functional pieces generally requires 2 or more separate firings, one to fuse the glass and a second to shape it.

We love to create in glass and we would love to share our enthusiasm with you! First, select your base piece from our wide selection of clear & colored bases. Design, Design, Design! While we have the tools you need to cut, we also have a substantial selection of glass frits (ground glass), bits (pre-cut squares), chips (small broken pieces), pebbles (small round glass bits), rods, noodles, and stringers that you can use to create beautiful works of art without any cutting, if you wish. We can also provide assistance and instruction in glass cutting. We'll fuse your piece (either a full fuse or tack/texture, your choice). For a small additional fee, we can do a slump firing to turn your masterpiece into a bowl or dish, it's all up to you. Your piece will be ready to pick up in 5 days!

Our fee structure is simple:
Cost of the project (s) + Studio fee($8 Adults/$6 under 14 & Seniors)= Total!

Introducing Creativity on the Go! We offer Creativity to go for individuals, families, small groups, parties, large groups and organizations.

Vacation Rainy Day Packs:
Before leaving for vacation, why not stop by A Stroke of Creativity and put together a pack for those days that are just not nice for a trip to the beach or the lake. We will help you select the pieces that will travel the best, help you select you paints, put together your brush set and pack everything up for safe travel. When you return from vacation, bring your pieces in to be fired.

On the Go:
Simply tell us what type of masterpiece you would like your guests to create, along with when and where your party or event will be, and we'll handle the creativity
portion of your event for you!

Creativity on the Go is great for Birthday Parties, Slumber Parties, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Class Activities, Camps, Scout Troops, Family Reunions & so much more!
